I’m pretty sure I have mentioned it so many times before, but writing things down is one of the most important things to do in order to accomplish your goals. Ideas come and go at any time and it’s important to write it down because you might not remember it again. Where do you write down your ideas? Do you write down your ideas, your goals and aspirations? With technology rapidly advancing, some of you may have thought that you write these down on your phone, but are you? Every time you go to the bathroom what do you do? You make sure you have your phone with you and you are either on social media or you are playing a game. You have the ability to write things down, but within 2 seconds, you could be using a different app and not writing it down. Tai Lopez said our attention span is now down to 5 seconds, which is shorter than the goldfish. So, ask yourself: Are you really writing things down on your phone?
When Bill Gates created Microsoft, he had 6 notepads spread throughout his home and he would write code on it. It might seem ridiculous, but you should try it. Take 6 notepads and spread them throughout your home. Make sure one is in the bathroom and another by your bedside. Every time you need to use the restroom, don’t bring your phone, but use the notepad and write down things you need to get done, goals you want to accomplish, etc. When you wake up first thing in the morning, before you even look at your phone, write down at least 3 things you want to get done that day. By writing them down that early, you are engraving these ideas in your head and are more inclined to take care of them. Before you go to bed, write down what you accomplished or self-reflect on how you can maximize your day better.
Everyone has goals and aspirations and we all want to live life to the fullest. Maximize your time by writing things down. Stop wasting your time on your phone because while you are doing that, other people are passing you by making something of their life and accomplishing their goals.
Every day this week, start your day by writing down three goals, three priorities that you want to accomplish that day. What better way then to start right now. In the comment section, write down the three things you want to accomplish today. At the end of the day, let us know how productive you were. Continue commenting throughout the week. If you need help getting there, let me know.
What’s your excuse?
