Book Review: Greatness Is Upon You

July 9, 2018

The reason I read Greatness Is Upon You by Eric Thomas is because Eric Thomas is one my role models.  He is one of the reasons why I decided I wanted to become a motivational speaker.  His enthusiasm, his drive and my ability to connect to his story.  There are times where I feel like … More Book Review: Greatness Is Upon You

Become a Life-Long Learner

July 2, 2018

I consistently preach that you need to learn something new each and every day or you are wasting your day.  That mindset needs to be there in order for you to succeed in life.  There is so much to learn from the past to the future.  If we don’t learn about the past, then we … More Become a Life-Long Learner

Why Writing Is Important

June 25, 2018

I’m pretty sure I have mentioned it so many times before, but writing things down is one of the most important things to do in order to accomplish your goals.  Ideas come and go at any time and it’s important to write it down because you might not remember it again.  Where do you write … More Why Writing Is Important

What I learned over the weekend

May 14, 2018

If you don’t learn something new each and every day, then you have wasted your day.  Knowledge is power that will guide you on the road to success.  Here is what I learned over the weekend: 1. Perfection isn’t attainable.     This week I started a new class in school about business plan foundations.  We … More What I learned over the weekend

Book Review: How to Win Friends and Influence People

January 29, 2018

So instead of posting what I learned over the weekend, I wanted to write a review of this book to show everyone how amazing and important this book really is.  This is the kind of book I will read and read and read again because the principles are so simply, yet, we don’t apply them … More Book Review: How to Win Friends and Influence People

What I learned over the weekend…

January 22, 2018

This weekend forced me into doing some research.  This weekend we are dealing with the government shutting down.  This shutdown effects over 800,000 federal employees.  Because the government shutdown, I had to do research to see what would happen next and how it effects my family and I. 1.  Stay in the know.     It’s … More What I learned over the weekend…

Top 3 Things I Learned Over the Weekend…

January 15, 2018

Attention to Detail     So, last week I looked at my homework assignments due and I saw that there was no Chapter 1 homework, but there was Chapter 2 homework.  I assumed that I had no homework due that first week; however, I did not look at everything.  The second week I looked at my … More Top 3 Things I Learned Over the Weekend…

Motivation

Everyone likes to make posts on Monday talking about “Motivation Monday” to help them get their week started, but not me.  I like to make my posts on Friday because I want to remind everyone that the grind doesn’t stop on Friday.  The grind is continuous.

If you have been following me for some time, you might have noticed that I believe strongly in the importance of goal setting and accountability. In fact, those are 2 of my keys to success. While I was in Yuma, I found this book in Barnes and Noble and I was so so excited that I bought two of them. Just another tool to use on the journey to success. . . . . . I’m beginning to use the books now to help set my action plan. 1 is for my physical fitness which is currently dismal, but also very important to me. The other 1 is to help push me toward my goal of being able to take on clients for life coaching by January 1st. I think it’s plenty of time to get things together to provide an excellent service. I’ll be sharing updates as much as I can. . . . If you had this book, what would be your main goal? What’s your excuse? . . . . . #motivation #inspiration #motivationalspeaker #success #whatsyourexcuse #lifecoach #commentbelow #goals #accountability #keystosuccess #bookstore #journal #barnesandnoble #toolsforthetoolbox #physicalfitness #health #journey
This is my best blog post so far in terms of traffic. This is one of the first posts where I feel like I have gotten engaged with the readers and where I’ve been vulnerable in expressing who I am. . . . There are many people out there who will try and push you down and make you who they think you are or should be, but they are the same people who are frustrated because they are not where they want to be in life. So, instead of improving their own life, they push others down to “feel” like they are above other people. Don’t allow these people to run your life. You have utmost potential and can be more successful than you realize. Push through and rise above. . . . If you want to know more about me, click on the link in the bio to view the blog post. Comment below with any questions you have. Don’t forget to ask yourself, “What’s your excuse?” . . . . . #motivation #inspiration #motivationalspeaker #success #whatsyourexcuse #lifecoach #blogpost #linkinbio #commentbelow #motivationalblogger #blogger #repost #learnsomethingnew
A below average person attempts tasks and goals with a minimal effort. An average person tries, sometimes gives a sub-par attempt, but later quits. The above average person pushes through until the job is done. An exceptional person takes it to a whole new level learning everything they can about the task. You must obsess yourself with greatness. Obsess over success and that’s when you will see results. What’s your excuse? . . . . . #motivation #inspiration #quoteoftheday #motivationalspeaker #obsessed #success #pushyourlimits #whatsyourexcuse #imback #failureisnotanoption
